I was empowered by my professors, peers, and friends I made along the way to seek my full potential. Social Media Marketing Intern - Vandals Dining at Sodexo
July 2020 - Present
I create content for Vandal Dinings' social media platforms such as Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook. I strategically plan and build brand awareness on Hootsuite. I helped coordinate a (socially-distanced) school event called Rock the Block for over 400 students. I work in a fast paced, detail oriented environment to get students involved and informed about events on campus.
Marketing Intern - Engineered Structures Inc.
Summer 2019
As a marketing intern, I researched for new proposals, spearheaded social media for the website, and took pictures and videos. I helped create a safety orientation video for contractors on new projects. I also helped plan an event for over 1,000 people, ordered food trucks, and made posters and flyers.

I was part of a motivated team that made calls to alumni in order to fundraise for the University of Idaho. I quickly connected with potential donors and built relationships with them to give back to the school.
Preschool Teacher - Raisin Angels Daycare
2014 - 2018
I love children! Working as a preschool teacher was the highlight of my days. I orchestrated lesson plans for the class, did fun and exciting projects with the kids, and prepared them for kindergarten. I loved my job so much that I went back during the breaks during college.

2019 - Present
I am a mentor to an elementary school child. I am a trusted friend, role model, and a positive guide for this child. I meet with him once a week and assist in setting personal and academic goals.
Puerto Rico Service Trip
Jan. 2020
I went to Puerto Rico on an alternative service trip through the University of Idaho for a couple of weeks. While there, we helped with reforestation maintenance, on a hurricane relief project, and spent a couple of days cleaning up the beaches. It was an amazing experience that I would do again.
Special Olympics Idaho
2015 - 2017
My favorite part of high school was working as an Intern for Special Olympics Idaho. I organized signature events, performed administrative duties, and competed on the Special Olympics sports teams. I was even lucky enough to coach the cheer team one year.
